Liberty by way of States' rights and adherence to principles of religion

At a glance...

In 1791 Congress represented equally the people and the separate States, but a 1913 constitutional amendment abolished the role of state governments in Washington.

Post 1913 judicial decisions  have interpreted the Constitution as though the separate States are satellites of Washington.   The constitutional ban specifically against Congress interfering with religion was reinterpreted to include all of government, barring religion, but not alternative values and views from public education and other institutions.

With religion removed from state mandated education, children are taught values contrary to religion, resulting in commonplace deceit, pre-marital sex, adultery, and confusion over sexual orientation.

The States' Liberty Party will restore the union of States to it's 1791 grandeur with the repeal of the 17th amendment.

On States' Rights...

The States' House in Congress was lost in a wave of federalism early in the last century.   Repeal of the Seventeenth Amendment will return control of Congress to the States and end the erosion of States' authority.

On Reestablishment of Religion....

Did you know?  Massachusetts was an established Puritan religious state until 1833, many years after ratification of the Constitution and first amendments.

The Constitution clearly and implicitly protected both States and people from religious interference by Congress.   Congress has no authority to regulate religion.  How can the courts make new law that would be forbidden of Congress?

On Religious Truths...

Federal actions have banned traditional religion -- but not contrary ideas -- from pubic institutions, elevating ungodliness effectively to a state religion.   With moral compass barred by federal laws, fundamental errors in thought will occur, and societal ills will increase naturally.  Deception will become normal policy and spiritual morality will be lost, resulting in unwanted pregnancies, failed marriages, and confusions over sexual identity   Babies will be brought into the world without parental desire, and will be handed to others to raise, or be discarded before they are born.

States Liberty Will Restore Principles of Religion

Return of control of Congress to the States will begin a process of reversing the misinterpretations of the Constitution that have eroded States' authority and eliminated religious principles.

States rights, not Ideology

The States Liberty Party is a party of  States' rights, not conservative or liberal policies.  Political or social ideologies and ideas consistent with Liberty Foundation principles (including those presented on this web site) are reserved to the States..  The Liberty Party has no national platform.

The States' Liberty Party and Liberty Party of California are not affiliated with any other party, organization or government.
