Churches Bombed in Kosovo

Two Orthodox Serbian Churches were bombed and destroyed in Kosovo on Sunday Nov 17, 2002, in the villages of Djurakovac and Ljubovo, both in the same area about 50 kilometers from Pristina.

US President Bill Clinton had blamed "all of the violence" on Yugoslavia President Slobodan Milosevic, but Milosevic is now on trial in the Hague.  Most of the violence in Kosovo directed at civilians occurred just at the start of the US and Britain led NATO attack on Serbia, and directly at the end, after NATO forces had taken control of the Kosovo region.

It is unclear who today is responsible for "all of the violence" in Kovoso.  Nobody is pointing fingers now.
