The media was at one time said to have been the watchdog of the government
A number of news controversies of a political nature developed in
recent years, where citizen observations, reporting and investigations
were not in agreement with official government reports and findings, so
many, in fact, that a recent presidential First Lady branded these a Vast
Right-Wing Conspiracy.
The States' Liberty Party is non-political
regarding these issues, but has an interest in seeing that the truth and actual
facts are historical record. This party believes that government
has an obligation to give substantial explanation regarding government
information challenged by factual evidence.
A number of controversies have, in
the view of the States' Liberty Party, failed in government substantiation.
In fact, serious questions brought by an independent witness challenging the
completeness and accuracy of Special Council Kenneth Starr's Whitewater
investigation were ordered appended officially to Special Council's report, unanimously by
the federal three judge
panel that appointed him..
Very high officials from previous White House
administrations have sided against the government on specific serious
controversies, including Joint Chief's of Staff Admiral Thomas Moorer and FBI
chief William Sessions. It is astonishing and headline news that the American press
has taken no interest in the concerns of these former officials.
Liberty is inconsistent with untruth in government and media
Although conservatives have been labeled as the source of most of these
controversies, in recent years very politically liberal media
sources like the Village Voice and British Independent have taking
interest in, and reported on them.
The States' Liberty Party will, for the
historic record, reopen investigations of events that have not been adequately
addressed, and publicly resolve them with the available information to the
satisfaction of reasonably minded citizens.
