Montanans and other states, write a
letter to the editor or call up your local talk radio and tell them that
you support a state resolution to repeal the 17th Amendment.
Legislators from several states have expressed an interest in
introducing a similar resolution.
Montana carried the effort a step further than did other states,
bringing the resolution out of committee and to the full Senate.
Encouragement from out-of-state States' Liberty Party subscribers and a
physical presence from Friends for America made the difference, but next
we must show in-state support for passing the full legislature.
States' Liberty Will Make a Difference
The first draft of the proposed
Montana resolution and amendment was written by John MacMulllin.
His draft amendment for the repeal of the 17th Amendment is published on our web
site. Tell Montanans about the 17th
Amendment. Send a letter
to the the editor |
