The Liberty Party will end reliance on the private automobile by way of a comprehensive public transit plan. Businesses are encouraged to develop an employee transportation plan to include the providing shuttles between their property and primary bus/rail stations.

 

The comprehensive plan will include:
bulletLight and heavy rail transit system connecting various major cities.
bulletNew privately owned ferry service where applicable.
bulletCounty and city transit system integration and connections to the statewide system.
bulletBusiness transportation plans and shuttle buses.
bulletPrivate shuttles to connect residential areas to main terminals.
bulletA 6 hour work day.

An ambitious plan is needed to reverse the many  years of neglect that has clogged many of the nation's roads.
